Info & Registration


The AABC programs run in 4 year cycles - alternating years to include the Alberta Summer Games & Alberta Zone Championships, Canada Summer Games & Western Canada Summer Games. Regardless of what program is being run, each new season always begins with the Talent Identification camps.  

The AABC and Baseball Alberta work in conjunction to put forward these these Talent Identification opportunities each year.  For 2019, the AABC will be scouting for Alberta Zone Championship & Western Canada Summer Games, and Baseball Alberta will be scouting for Canada Cup.  Please take note of the age groups below and register through the correct organization for your age eligibility. 


The upcoming year (2019) Talent Identification Camps will run for the following programs:

 

Western Canada Summer Games (Administered by AABC)

Ages 14-15 (born 2005/2004) will be identified at the Talent ID camps to represent Team Alberta at the Western Canada Summer Games, August 9-18, 2019 in Swift Current, Sask.

*All ages as of December 31, 2018

Alberta Zone Championships (Administered by the AABC)

Ages 14-15 (born 2005/2004) will be identified at the Talent ID camps to represent your zone at the Alberta Zone Championships, August 16-18, 2019 in Swift Current, Sask.

Baseball Canada Cup (Administered by Baseball Alberta)

Ages 16-17 (born 2003/2002) will be identified at the Talent ID camps, to represent Team Alberta, at the 2019 Baseball Canada Cup Aug 7-11 in Regina, Sask.

If you are eligible for Canada Cup (aged 16-17) you are required to register through the Baseball Alberta website.  Any questions regarding Canada Cup should be directed towards Baseball Alberta at sheenbromley@baseballalberta.com

 


*Please Note:

You must attend a Talent ID camp to be eligible to participate in AABC programs.

If you are planning to attend an ID camp, we ask that you please submit an online registration. 

Registration will close at Midnight, the day before each respective camp.  Please ensure you register early to save your spot.

You are only required to attend one camp each season. 

Kids from any baseball program in Alberta are eligible to attend Talent ID.

There is no cost to attend.

Please arrive at 5pm to check-in at the field and begin warming up.  Drills will begin promptly at 5:30pm.
