Zone Championships

Date: August 2019

The tournament showcases the best 15U players in the province identified at Talent ID camps in the spring. Although the tournament is hosted by a committee, the AABC is the organization that sets out the bid criteria, determines the rules and regulations, and has input into the operation of the tournament. The tournament takes place every two years; every other year, the Alberta Summer Games are hosted.

KJ Memorial Tournament

Date:September 13-15, 2019

This tournament is governed by the Alberta Amateur Baseball Council but also hosted by a third party committee.To apply to participate in this tournament, please email aabc@albertabaseball.org. Keith was tireless worker for baseball in Alberta.  He coached numerous youth teams as well as holding many executive youth baseball positions.  He was instrumental in the development and success of the Prairie Baseball Academy.  Keith was passionate about giving all kids a chance to play baseball.  He was concerned about the success of the baseball program in smaller centres

16 Year Old College Showcase

Date: August 23-25, 2019

Location: TBD

This tournament is also hosted by a third party committee and governed by the Alberta Amateur Baseball Council. This tournament is a true provincial championship that allows club level teams from all of the different member organizations to participate against each other. Teams from any organization in Alberta (Babe Ruth, American Legion, Little League Alberta, Baseball Alberta) can enter this tournament to play for the provincial championship.
